Joe passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. He was the former Executive Director of NTEN, and first Vice President of Advocacy and Growth at Care2.
Joe’s decades-long commitment to human rights activism has helped hundreds of progressive nonprofit organizations and action groups win meaningful victories.
The Joe Baker Fund will allow digital activists at human rights organizations to attend NTEN’s annual Nonprofit Technology Conference by covering the costs of registration and travel.
Joe cared deeply about volunteering, mentorship, and building a progressive and equitable world. His fund makes it possible for more nonprofit professionals to connect and learn from each other.
