Presenters:

Vinay Bhagat, Founder and Chief Strategy Officer: Vinay Bhagat is a recognized thought leader in the nonprofit sector. Vinay founded Convio in April 1999 after volunteering at a public television pledge drive and seeing the opportunity to leverage Internet technology to drive better fundraising results. Today, as chief strategy officer, he oversees corporate strategy and is actively involved in research and client success strategies.

Prior to Convio, Vinay was director of ecommerce at Austin-based Trilogy Software, working with Fortune 500 companies to develop their Internet strategies. Before joining Trilogy, he was a consultant at Bain & Company in London, Hong Kong and Kiev.

Steven DelVecchio, Senior Director, Direct Response, AARP/AARP Foundation: Steven has been a fundraiser for 28 years. He began his career with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in 1981, where he eventually served as the Associate Director, Direct Mail. After leaving the DCCC in 1986, Steve worked at several direct marketing agencies (Craver Mathews Smith, National Direct Marketing, and Epsilon) on the direct response fundraising programs for some of the nation's leading nonprofit organizations including Amnesty International, the ACLU, Christian Children's Fund, Heifer International, the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, The Wilderness Society, and Save the Children.

From 2002 to 2006, he served as the Vice President for Membership at Defenders of Wildlife where he implemented multi-channel marketing strategies - integrating direct mail, telemarketing, and online marketing. Over the past several years, Steve has developed a strong interest and expertise in online fundraising and its integration with more traditional direct marketing efforts. Prior to joining AARP, he was an independent consultant providing fundraising and marketing solutions to nonprofit organizations. At AARP, he leads the direct response fundraising and development operations for the AARP Foundation and Advocacy programs.

Steve has a B.A. degree from Boston University and an M.B.A from George Mason University. He lives in Fairfax, VA with his wife, Francine and two children, Alex and Cara.

Milo Sybrant, Managing Director of New Media for Amnesty International USA:
Before coming to Amnesty, a Nobel Prize-winning human rights organization with more than 2 million supporters worldwide, Milo was a Marketing Consultant for Beaconfire Consulting, where he worked with nonprofits like Heifer International and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Jocelyn Harmon, Director of Nonprofit Services at Care2.com, Moderator:
  At Care2, a social community of 13 mm + activists, Jocelyn works to connect nonprofits and socially responsible brands to Care2's highly engaged members so that they can acquire new donors, members and advocacy supporters. Prior to joining Care2, Jocelyn was Director of Business Development for InfoGROUP Nonprofit where she was responsible for sales, marketing and new product development for some of the nation's largest nonprofits. Jocelyn has been a member of the "capacity-building" community for nonprofits since 2000. She started her career as Development Manager for the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and then became Director of Development and Communications for the National Council of Nonprofits, an association of 22,000 local charities. In 2009, Jocelyn was recognized as one of the Women in Nonprofit Technology Who Rock by Fast Company Online. Her personal blog, Marketing for Nonprofits, is top-ranked on Alltop. She also writes a bi-monthly column for Fundraising Success magazine. Jocelyn has a Masters of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington.
