How Can Progressive Activist Groups Become More Successful?
Wade Hudson, co-founder of the Progressive Resource Catalog and the Strategy Workshop, an informal association of activists and organizers, are studying ways to help progressive activists become more effective and get results. As part of the study they are inviting people who work in community organizing and progressive activist groups to participate in an online survey and an optional follow-up phone interview. “As community organizers and progressive activists who push for changes in public or corporate policy in the United States adjust to our shifting political landscape, this seems like a good time to step back, evaluate our strengths and weaknesses, and improve our community organizing,” said Katherine Forrest, President of the Commonweal Institute.
After conducting follow-up phone conversations with willing respondents, they will send a summary of the responses to survey participants.
