Presenters:
Teddy Goff: Teddy serves as Associate Vice President for Strategy at Blue State Digital, a digital marketing agency, where he oversees both the account management and creative delivery teams servicing more than 75 active engagements across the globe. BSD's portfolio of clients includes nonprofits like the American Red Cross; political and advocacy campaigns, most famously President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign; cultural and academic institutions like Harvard University; and brands and businesses like Microsoft.
Before his current role, he helped direct BSD's account management team and personally led programs for Senator Edward M. Kennedy, Partners In Health, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among others.
Teddy joined BSD from President Obama's 2008 campaign, where he directed all state-level new media campaigns, overseeing everything from email and blog programs to online organizing strategies in more than 25 battleground states. During the primaries, he helped lead President Obama's mass email team, writing and editing fundraising, recruitment, and messaging emails and developing communications and segmentation plans. Immediately prior to joining BSD, Teddy worked for the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Project, where he oversaw the creation and launch of the Obama Administration's new WhiteHouse.gov. He also has extensive experience as an editor and copywriter for print and Web.
Teddy graduated from Yale University with a degree in English and Political Science and lives in New York, NY.
Taryn Rosenkranz: Taryn serves as the director of marketing and new media for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) where she helps to elect more Democrats to the U.S. House by developing cutting-edge new media activities. During her tenure, she increased the DCCC’s email list by over 400% and has raised over $90 million dollars for the committee through grassroots outreach (mail, phone and email). She also provides individual strategic new media counsel to DCCC candidates and incumbents. Her work has been recognized by the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet with a 2008 Golden Dot award for Online Dream Team and two prestigious Pollie awards.
Prior to the DCCC, she managed the online advocacy department at the American Academy of Pediatrics and worked at two top-tier public affairs/relations companies. She has counseled literally hundreds of candidates, non-profits and companies on online strategies, grassroots fundraising and online advocacy.
Taryn has both her BA and MA in political science from American University in Washington, D.C.

Care2 is an online social network of over 14 million people worldwide who want to make a difference in causes they care about. Prior to joining Care2 Eric designed and executed integrated advocacy campaigns for environmental nonprofits for more than seven years.
