Dogwood is dedicated to defending the British Columbia coast from oil spills, standing up for Indigenous rights, and fighting runaway climate change. The organization needed to reach a new audience in order to grow its base of supporters, volunteers, action takers, and donors.
Care2 launched a petition encouraging citizens of British Columbia to stand against dangerous oil tanker proposals. The petition supplemented the organization’s other acquisition methods - canvassing, Google Ad Words, and promoted posts on social media.
Dogwood continues to turn to Care2 as a reliable source of long-term fundraising. Within a year, Dogwood had already returned for a second campaign with Care2.
